A MAN who went missing from Prescoed Jail has been returned to the Usk establishment after being arrested on Friday but another man has gone on the run this weekend.
Graham Dean, 63, walked out of Prescoed but was found and arrested in the Bristol area.
Meanwhile, another man has gone missing from the prison and is being hunted by police.
Matthew Zammitt Davies, 31, failed to return on Saturday (January 23).
He was convicted of assault and theft at Swansea Crown Court in October 2006. He is not a sex offender.
Davies is described as white, five feet seven inches tall and of slight build. He has light brown hair and was last known to be wearing blue jeans, a black sweatshirt , white trainers, a black scarf and a black pair of gloves.
He is known to have links in the Swansea area.
Its believed there may be a potential risk to members of the public due to the fact that the individual is no longer in the custody of the prison service.
Gwent Police has activated its operational plan with the aim of locating the individual and the prison is co-operating fully with us.
If they see him, members of the public are advised not to approach Matthew Zammitt Davies and to call police immediately on 01633 838111.
