MAN KILLED IN NEW INN INCIDENT IS NAMED

THE MAN who died during an incident at Driverline 247 Ltd in New Inn on Monday (October 20)has been named as 45-year- old Kingsley Monk from the Blackwood area.
A 52-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder, attempted murder and false imprisonment remains in police custody being questioned.
Following immediate enquiries undertaken by officers the man, from the Cardiff area, was arrested at Newport railway station around 8.30pm on Monday night.
Two of the three men who were injured and taken to the Royal Gwent Hospital have since been discharged. One male remains in hospital and is in a stable condition.
Police are not looking for anybody else in connection with the incident at this time. Officers remain at the scene and a major investigation is underway to confirm the exact circumstances of what happened.
A post mortem is underway to establish the cause of death.
